Open Question: Pregnant and worried?

I am in my 20's, in an apartment and recently found out I was pregnant a few weeks ago.
My fiance is really happy about it and is working hard to provide food and rent.. As am I.
I recently told my dad about this and he got really upset and told me that he has no daughter.
He said he was going to disown me whenever he would come up to me and said he doesn't want to be a grandpa. My mother is really happy and bought all of these clothes for the baby, but
I am upset because my dad is really unhappy. Why is this? >> full story

SHE NEVER REALLY GIVES A REASON WHEN SHE TELLS ME NOT TO COME IN BUT WHEN SHE DOES SHE SAYS THERE ISN'T ENOUGH KIDS, BUT WHEN I GO IN I SEE THERE WERE ENOUGH KIDS ON THE DAYS SHES SAID THAT, AND ON TOP OF THAT SHE HAS HER OTHER EMPLOYEE COME IN. HER OTHER EMPLOYEE USUALLY WAS GIVEN ABOUT 20-30 HOURS NOW SHES GIVING HER ABOUT 60 HOURS AND ME HARDLY ANY. THE POLICY BOOK SAYS NO OVER TIME WILL BE GIVEN BUT SHE IS OBVIOUSLY GIVING THE OTHER EMPLOYEE QUIT A BIT OF OVERTIME.
SHE IS BEING VERY UNFAIR AND I DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW TO APPROACH HER ABOUT THIS SINCE SHE IS MY MOTHER IN LAW AND I HAVE TO DEAL WITH HER OUTSIDE OF WORK. I KNOW IF I CONTACT THE RIGHT PEOPLE ABOUT THIS THERES A POSSIBILITY HER CENTER WILL BE CLOSED AND THAT WOULD BE TOO MUCH FOR ME TO DEAL WITH, AS I PLAN TO BE APART OF THE FAMILY FOR A LONG TIME.
AND FOR A SIDE NOTE I'VE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH HER WE'VE ALWAYS GOTTEN ALONG VERY WELL, UNTIL NOW I'M GETTING UPSET AND SHES ACTING LIKE NOTHINGS WRONG.
AND WITH WHAT I'VE SEEN HER DO WITH HER OTHER EMPLOYEES I KNOW SHE WILL TRY AND MAKE ME QUIT SO SHE WONT HAVE TO PAY UNEMPLOYMENT.

So far I have understood that in this household with a mom, dad, dadi, and 3 sons, a baby girl has been born. At first they don't know whether to celebrate the birth or not, they end up celebrating it but just because it would look strange if they didn't since they did when each of the 3 boys were born. So they were not celebrating out of love for the baby. Initially they didn't take care of the baby at all, didn't feed her milk (such that her mother was no longer to produce milk at all after some months) and fed her alcohol. I guess they were trying to kill the child? One night the father sees the baby awake and feels pity for her and takes her outside. From then on one of the sons feeds her milk from a goat every day and the baby becomes healthy again.

This is where it becomes confusing for me. I know the dadi doesn't want the baby so she gets sick? And says some things about how all the milk will attract snakes. But I'm not sure what exactly the dadi does and how the story ends.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Open Question: 20 hours broken sleep in 6 days sooo tired and getting frustrated with my baby girl??!!?

My daughter is 7 months old and has a cold , is teething aswell as me and my hubbie both being sick. I am soo exhausted and can't shake this tummy bug because i am not getting any rest. Because i am so tired and unwell i find myself getting really really frustrated with my daughter, last night sat in my bed with my daughter in my arms and cried for an hour because she wouldn't sleep. I am not a bad mother and i love her very much and i feel so bad for getting upset with her. I would never do anything to hurt her. Just wondering how other mothers deal with this? I have no one that can take her at the moment both of the people i trust to take her work as does my hubbie ( i am supposeed to to but haven't been) so that isn't an option. Any ideas or even just some feedback on epople going through the same thing would be appreciated. Sometimes just knowing someone else is going through the same thing is enough to make me feel better:) My daughter falls asleep on her own but is struggling to at the moment because she is sooo stuffed up and coughing alot. My musical tastes are very ecclectic, from 50's-80's pop, grunge, soul, r 'n' b, indie, techno, classical, punk and metal, so why do people keep telling me that I'm going to be an awful mother as I'll obviously FORCE my child to listen to metal? My family has grown, bunny wise. It started with our first bunny ever, Lightning. He was an all black American rabbit who was very aggressive. The next day we got another surprise, an all white rabbit with red eyes. Lightning and Angel were two love birds, or should I say love bunnies ha ha. We had them for 2 years until angel had her first litter of kits, she died because her milk was late and there was too many kits. We had our last hug and kiss before she passed, it was a very sad moment but that did not stop us from mothering her babies. Half of the kits passed because the heat but at least all the bunnies except one was given to loving homes. That one bunny was mine, her name was Shiny and she was disabled. Her back legs were paralyzed and her eyes were not open yet. We then got her a buddy named Milkiway. They were best buds, they went everywhere together. When she went to the vet to get her eyes open she was right there with her. That year Shiny passed sadly, a family member was watching her for the weekend and left her in the heat out side. I will never be able to see my precious Shiny's face again. I felt bad mostly for Milkiway, she was her best friend and now has lost her only friend. We then moved that year and got our little Oreo. Milkiway and Oreo hit it off when they first met. Our little girls were like Milkiway and Shiny. Later that year we breed Lightning for the first time because we thought it would be cool if Milkiway and Oreo had another sister. We then welcomed Silver into the family, she was mine too because she reminded me of Shiny. Silver was playful and loved to get attention. But weirdly Lightning was attracted to her. He then forcefully mated with her, we tried to break them up so it would not happen because she was running from him but he was too fast and too mean for us to stop them. One month later she gave birth to five kits, somehow they were normal and we found out that Silver was not his daughter and there was a mix up. Two of the kits passed because of a problem with their lungs or something like that. But even though two newborns were dead we were still happy with the three left. It was two girls and a boy. We named them Juno, Mixie and Bubbles. They were like three peas in a pod, but something unexpected happened. When we left Milkiway and Oreo by them selves they acted like most boys and girls do in a room by the selves, they get together. So another month later either late at night or really early in the morning me and my brother went down stairs to check on them like we did every day, and there was 4 little kits in the cage. We knew about the signs in pregnancy for a rabbit is it make a nest but she was not pulling her fur out or any thing. It was really weird how she just had kits but lightning was not with her one month ago. We later found out that Milkiway was a male the whole time. There was two girls and two boys. We named them Max, Maple, Missy and Matt. We thought it would be cute to go with all M names. When the new kits grew up, Maple and Juno had a special love for each other and mated. They conceived one kit, we thought they would have over two like they were supposed to but it was weird there was only one. It was a little girl named flower. When flower was only 2 months old, my grandparents decided to give them to a bunny farm when we were at school. When we got home we called our mom who has went away for the week and told her that they were gone and we will never have our little babies again. My mom was fighting with them for a long time telling them that the bunnies were not theirs and they did not have the right to take our beloved bunnies away. I still remember them to this day and wonder if they are happy or in a great home, but I will never know. They still have a place in my heart even though it has been 6 and a half years, I will never forget my little friends I like to call Bunnies. >> full story

On Motherhood!
