Open Question: At what point during infancy can babies tell the difference between their own mother's milk scent and another?

Can anyone give me a brief summary of premchand's story तेंतर ? The beginning was easier to understand but the vocabulary towards the end got kind of difficult and online dictionaries or translation sites aren't helping.

So far I have understood that in this household with a mom, dad, dadi, and 3 sons, a baby girl has been born. At first they don't know whether to celebrate the birth or not, they end up celebrating it but just because it would look strange if they didn't since they did when each of the 3 boys were born. So they were not celebrating out of love for the baby. Initially they didn't take care of the baby at all, didn't feed her milk (such that her mother was no longer to produce milk at all after some months) and fed her alcohol. I guess they were trying to kill the child? One night the father sees the baby awake and feels pity for her and takes her outside. From then on one of the sons feeds her milk from a goat every day and the baby becomes healthy again.

This is where it becomes confusing for me. I know the dadi doesn't want the baby so she gets sick? And says some things about how all the milk will attract snakes. But I'm not sure what exactly the dadi does and how the story ends.

Open Question: What would happen to the baby?

The baby I'm asking about is my niece(my brother Cody & his gf Kate's baby)
My brothers(Cody & Mike) , their girlfriends(Kate & Marie)(who are sisters)and my dad went to the lake today and I met them there. Well Marie made the mistake of telling me that her and Cody smoked a joint before I got there & then later both my brothers and Marie and some random guy left and smoked more. And Kate isn't a good mother to begin with and she doesn't take good care of the baby...so what all can I do to get the baby out of that situation >> full story

Open Question: WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO ABOUT MY BOSS?

OK FIRST OF ALL THIS IS MY MOTHER-IN-LAW WHICH MAKES IT AN UNCOMFORTABLE SITUATION FOR ME...I AM EMPLOYED AT THE DAY CARE CENTER SHE OWNS AND OPERATES.
I JUST GOT OFF OF MATERNITY LEAVE(UNPAID) 2 WEEKS AGO, AND I DID SO 2 WEEKS EARLY BECAUSE SHE SAID SHE NEEDED ME. NOW TOMORROW WILL BE MY ACTUAL 6 WEEKS FROM HAVING MY BABY AND WITHIN THESE 2 WEEKS I'VE ONLY WORKED A TOTAL OF 7 HOURS. MY NORMAL PAY PERIOD (EVERY 2 WEEKS) CONSISTS OF AT LEAST 30 HOURS.
SHE NEVER REALLY GIVES A REASON WHEN SHE TELLS ME NOT TO COME IN BUT WHEN SHE DOES SHE SAYS THERE ISN'T ENOUGH KIDS, BUT WHEN I GO IN I SEE THERE WERE ENOUGH KIDS ON THE DAYS SHES SAID THAT, AND ON TOP OF THAT SHE HAS HER OTHER EMPLOYEE COME IN. HER OTHER EMPLOYEE USUALLY WAS GIVEN ABOUT 20-30 HOURS NOW SHES GIVING HER ABOUT 60 HOURS AND ME HARDLY ANY. THE POLICY BOOK SAYS NO OVER TIME WILL BE GIVEN BUT SHE IS OBVIOUSLY GIVING THE OTHER EMPLOYEE QUIT A BIT OF OVERTIME.
SHE IS BEING VERY UNFAIR AND I DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW TO APPROACH HER ABOUT THIS SINCE SHE IS MY MOTHER IN LAW AND I HAVE TO DEAL WITH HER OUTSIDE OF WORK. I KNOW IF I CONTACT THE RIGHT PEOPLE ABOUT THIS THERES A POSSIBILITY HER CENTER WILL BE CLOSED AND THAT WOULD BE TOO MUCH FOR ME TO DEAL WITH, AS I PLAN TO BE APART OF THE FAMILY FOR A LONG TIME.
AND FOR A SIDE NOTE I'VE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH HER WE'VE ALWAYS GOTTEN ALONG VERY WELL, UNTIL NOW I'M GETTING UPSET AND SHES ACTING LIKE NOTHINGS WRONG.
AND WITH WHAT I'VE SEEN HER DO WITH HER OTHER EMPLOYEES I KNOW SHE WILL TRY AND MAKE ME QUIT SO SHE WONT HAVE TO PAY UNEMPLOYMENT.

Open Question: Pregnant and worried?

today me and my boyfriend got into a fight because i had confess to him that i used cocaine two or 3 times before with my friend..He got upset and said if i do that imagine all the others things i be doing etc.so anyways me and him had a threesome long time ago with his baby mother..So i had told him that she had ask me before to do a threesome with her and her new boyfriend..But i didnt so he got really mad..So today when we were arguing he said oh that he is going to call her and tell her that we are bitches etc and to tell her that now me and her and her new boyfriend could do that threesome..So i told him what does me using cocaine has anything to do with his ex?!
