Open Question: How to make iTunes to automatically disconnect my iPod?

I know this sounds like a weird question because all i could find on here was how to stop it disconnecting! What can I say, I am weird! :D

It used to automatically sync and then disconnect my iPod and then I clicked the "Manually manage music and videos" box. Like you would expect it stopped automatically syncronizing and disconnecting but now i want it back!

So I clicked the "Manually manage music and videos" box again so there was no tick and now it syncs automatically (which i am happy for) but is there any way to make disconnect after it has finished syncing? >> full story

A couple of quick notes about today’s release of an iPhone (and iPod touch) 2.0.1 bug-fix update: • I applied the update to my jailbroken iPod Touch. It updated the device without any glitches.
