Open Question: I pod shuffle USB device not recognized?

does the Digital Lifestyle Outfitters Action Jacket fit completely without falling out
for the ipod nano sec. genation.

the reason why I'm asking is because I'm looking for an ipod case that will let me charge up the ipod without having to take out the ipod everytime i want to charge it. my mother has never done this before but she is willing to get me pretty much anything for hannukah, im not a spolied child and thats probably the opnly reason shes asksing for my input (my brother on the other hand has everything he has ever watned) i dont want to take advantage of my moms generosity ( i have an iPod and a comp) ideas for a good gift?

it doesn't matter christmas or hannukah... its only a gift i have the video ipod but i saw a redisigned ipod shuffle and though it was cool where it was so small i just didnt like that grey color , so i was wondering if they are coming out with a new colors anytime soon.....(i was hoping a red one) Just got a brand new 4GB Nano for $55 today at school (Guy one one already had one,auctioned it off and no one wanted to go very high so I got it fo $55)

What Can I do for upgrades? When I say upgrade I mean physical upgrades increased battery and memory, different colored led kind of things.

I am looking for links. I just got the Ipod shuffle, and followed instructions to download I-tunes and after that, i plugged the cable to the USB drive , then the shuffle to the dock. After that, it popped up a bubble saying that the 'USB device is not recognized..' and that windows cannot find it, and it has malfunctioned. !!! I have done everything including uninstalling the driver and installing it , uninstalling/reinstalling i tunes, plugging the dock and usb cable in and out. NOTHING to avail...it keeps popping up the same message. Whereas when I try to put in other things to the port it works out fine. Can someone pleaseee help me??!?!! I will definently be grateful!
