photo quality has no say in the winner... I know some people can't afford super amazing digital camera. so just because your pic doesn't look like it belongs in a magazine doesn't mean it can't win. just as long as I can see the betta it will be considered. >> full story

I want to get a JVC everio digital camcorder and among other uses want to use it as a webcam so i can have better quality audio/video. Many places i have searched say that firewire is the best way to make this connection. These places also say i would need some sort of driver downloaded.The first question i want to know is how do i know my computer has firewire and how do i use it? I have a dell inspiron 1720.
